Xavier Mercier is a Senior Software Developer with over 25 years of experience, specializing in building and managing high-impact technical solutions. As a key member of MAPS’ Software Development Team, Xavier has led the development of the MAPS Policy Portal from prototype to full-scale implementation, now serving 25+ services within the HSE Network.

He has also played a pivotal role in delivering other significant projects, including the Mental Health Individualised Care Plan Tracker (Digital ICP) and the Speech and Language Client Activity System (SLCAS), while offering expert support in software and data management, report generation, and statistical analysis.

Xavier’s expertise spans SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL databases, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and programming languages such as C#/.NET with Blazor and Telerik, Java, C/C++, Python, and JavaScript. His substantial experience in database design, development, and administration has made him a go-to specialist for complex software development and delivery challenges.
